Mold Testing
You may be told not to worry about testing for mold in your home as if there is nothing to fear. At the same time, many people throw in the towel and put their properties up for sale at the slightest hint of mold. That is why it is always best to perform mold testing, as you don’t want to put your family in harm or overreact to a harmless situation.
When the time comes to test a piece of property, Mold Remediation Specialists will send one of our certified subcontractors to perform a full inspection.
Samples of the air will be taken to confirm no one is breathing mold into their lungs. There will also be samples gathered of various surfaces, such as walls and flooring. More than just mold, our specialists check for water intrusion points that may gradually lead to mold and take all the right precautions. Photographs are shot, and infrared technology is used to detect moisture.
All our findings are sent to a lab for testing, allowing our team to produce digital photographs, along with a document detailing any mold that exists. The information will include the severity of the mold’s growth, directions on how to remedy the problem, and detailed instructions on how to prevent similar issues in the future.
